Infrastructure
The group benefits from access to computing clusters equipped with both CPU and GPU nodes, enabling a wide range of simulations and data-driven workflows. We also make use of national and European high-performance computing facilities, e.g., CINECA, through ISCRA and EuroHPC programs. These computational capabilities support our research across scales, from quantum-level modeling to large-scale materials simulations.
Research Synergy with CNR-Nano
The campus of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia hosts the CNR-Nano institute, within the Physics building. The Condensed Matter Theory group at UNIMORE maintains a strong and fruitful scientific collaboration with the CNR-Nano researchers across multiple fields.
